Like most people, I love October... and here it is!
Part of living seasonal for me is enjoying each season and finding joy in the every day blessings life brings.
This month for nature study I am offering a lot of facts, ideas, and prompts to get you and your children outside.

This month's nature calendar has 31 days. So, as we have before, we put the extra dates at the beginning of your calendar. This is the easier way to keep everything on one sheet instead of two.
Also included this month is a one page weather recording sheet for your child to record one paragraph this month about the weather.
So many times we overcomplicate learning. The truth is, children, learn so much from their environment. Charlotte Mason said a whole third of education is atmosphere. This month, enjoy nature with your children. Nature study is for moms, too. We need a pause in the day to soak in the sunshine, and breathe the fresh air.
